"Rule of Law" a term that should be used with wisdom.

The term "Rule of Law", modern terminology that means nothing and every thing.  In reality Communist, Socialist, Nazi Regimes, Tyrannical Kingdoms, Tyrannical Dictators all had or have "Rule of Law".  Is that what you want?  Laws can and do become a yoke of burden and enslave.  I am not calling for an absence of law rather minimal and rational laws for a free society.  Freedom does not come with out risk.  It can be argued - you are not free if forced to live in a societal cocoon where government determines what you do, think and say.  You believe this Rule of Law will prevent "evil" from rising to the surface.  They use such mechanisms to rise.  Marshall Law while some times necessary is an ideal method for "evil" to take control.  Authority is concentrated into the hands of the few from where the power grab takes place.  Be wise when putting the Rule of Law on a pedestal.
